Martin Stadium

Phases I-IV

Artist Rendering of Renovated Stadium

Phase I: A Better Game Day Experience

Martin Stadium Entrance Remaking an entrance
Phase I included the creation of new entry gates, a plaza for Cougars to gather, and "Martin Stadium" signage, which has immediately become a campus landmark.

  Restroom Sign More restrooms
We're serious about improving the game-day experience. Phase I added new restrooms on the south side and restrooms and concessions in the east end.

Students on Concourse Better access and movement
It is easier to get in and out and move around the stadium with widened concourses.

Phase II: The Students Made It Happen

Students in the Stands Students stepped up
In 2006 WSU students voted overwhelmingly to support the renovation of Martin Stadium. This phase of the construction was funded through student fees.

Restroom and Concession Facilities Game day, great day
The game-day experience keeps improving with the widening of the north concourse and the development of new restroom and concession facilities.

  New Scoreboard New scoreboard
Watching the clock run down on another Cougar victory was made even more memorable with the new state-of-the-art scoreboard on the west end.

Phase III: More. More. More.

Martin Stadium Suite Comforts of a new home
Key to upgrading the game-day experience will be the addition of suites, loge boxes, and club seats atop the north stands. Check out the next page for details.

Football Fans in the Stands We can fill it up
We did research that proved there was significant interest in the project, and in particular, the purchase of premium seating.

Outdoor Club Seating An impressive presence
The look of the new stadium will really start to take shape in Phase III. The visual addition of the premium seating areas atop the north stands will be dramatic.

Phase IV: Turn Up The Volume

Additional Seating in East Stands There's room for more
This final phase will include construction of seating atop the east stands. Now 5,500 more excited Cougars will be able to experience every game in person.

Cougar Football Fans You make the difference
Phases III and IV will be funded through donations and revenue garnered from the lease of suites, loge boxes, and club seats in the premium seating areas.

Students on Campus It's more than football
The new Martin Stadium will help recruit top athletes, top students, and top faculty who are looking for a rich, complete college experience.
